CVF’s New Kit Comparison Chart

As you might of read, a while back we installed CVF’s Wraptor serpentine kit on Project Orange Crush. It was an easy installation and came with everything we needed. Although the Wraptor kit was exactly what we needed, CVF understands that it is not a perfect fit for everyone.

They offer a couple other other pulley kits for style and budget. It can be confusing talking about the multiple kits and how they differ and thats why CVF has recently added a comparison chart of all the kits.

CVF has been designing pulley systems for engines of many different makes since 2009. For the Mopar enthusiasts CVF offers their complete pulley kit lineup consisting of The Wraptor, The Beast and V-Belt for small and big block Mopar motors. Trying to decide what is best for your vehicle can be challenging and thats why they have created a very simple to use comparison chart of all three kits.

The Wraptor serpentine kit is CVF’s ultimate pulley system. The kit comes standard with all the accessories and offers the most grip with their 8-rib pulleys. All their accessories come with an industry leading Life Time Warranty. Including a high flow water pump, modern power steering pump, high amp alternator and optional A/C compressor all at a fraction of the cost of other serpentine belt systems. We can see why the Wraptor kit is so popular among all platforms.

The Wraptor kit is the highest priced kit and might not fit some budgets but still want the look and performance of a serpentine belt. The Beast serpentine conversion kit is what you need. Offered in stealth black or polished, The Beast kit will include the pulleys and brackets you will need to convert your engine to a serpentine belt. The kit still utilizes CVF’s 8-rib pulleys for extra grip over the standard 6-rib pulleys. If you do not have accessories or looking to purchase new ones, CVF can add in your choice of components if needed.

Although the serpentine belt offers the maximum amount of grip, the look of a modern pulley system is not for everyone. CVF offers their V-Belt pulley systems for a more nostalgic look. The CVF V-Belt pulleys are CNC machined for a perfect fit and offer more consistent grip over the stock pulleys. The pulleys are offered in multiple diameters with various amount of grooves to fit everyone’s needs. The V-Belt pulleys come polished for a high performance look.

No matter if you purchase a couple individual V-Belt pulleys or a complete Wraptor serpentine kit, you will be happy it came from CVF. All of their pulleys and brackets are crafted right here in the USA ensuring the best quality. They back all of their pulleys and brackets with an industry leading Life Time warranty. If you have further questions give the guys at CVF a call. Their shelves are stocked and they are waiting to ship you the parts you need.
