With 2016 just around the corner, what better way to celebrate this past year than with some SRT Hellcat burnouts! Thanks to a video put together by FCA (FIAT Chrysler Automobiles), these burnouts come courtesy of the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcats. The Hellcat as we are sure you know is fitted with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 producing 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

2015 was a great year for the Hellcat. With over 8,500 Hellcats built this year (1,334 Chargers & 7,168 Challengers), that’s over six million horsepower combined roaming the streets thanks to Dodge! For 2016, the Hellcat Challenger and Charger stay relatively the same with the biggest changes being a price bump up in MSRP and the addition of the much anticipated Plum Crazy Pearl paint available on both the Challenger and the Charger.

In the video below, you’ll see them doing what they do best; turning those brand new factory equipped P275/40ZR20 Pirelli P-Zero tires into smoldering piles of burnt rubber! Nothing gets the blood going like the smell of burning rubber and a supercharger whining!

On Christmas of 1998, Cody's parents gave him a rusty '69 Charger shell that his father saved from a field. Cody's garage still features that '69 Charger as well as the additions of a '71 Charger R/T, '71 Super Bee, '73 Duster, '08 Challenger SRT8 and a '13 Ram 3500. Cody can truly and proudly say that he is a true Mopar nut in love with all types of Mopars!
