In case you’ve ever had the ridiculous notion that your diesel-powered mauler is somehow low on power, NOS’s new diesel nitrous kits are here to save the day. Nitrous oxide, if you didn’t know, is quite the magical power-adder in the way it works. Stored in a pressurized bottle somewhere on the vehicle, nitrous is basically a temporary (and massive) boost in horsepower. It adds that power by adding oxygen to the combustion process while also cooling intake air charge. Any time more oxygen can be packed into a cylinder, that means more fuel can be packed in as well. All of that adds up to way more power than run-of-the-mill atmospheric air.

These kits are rated to add as much as 75 horsepower in stock applications. Of course, modified and tuned applications could gain a boatload more. Two package variations are available: one with a mini 2-stage controller and one without. Included in the kits are a 15-pound bottle, brackets, solenoid, feed line, wiring, and detailed instructions.

Available separately are their bottom-exit nitrous and fuel solenoids. With a stainless steel base and powder-coated finish, they’re are sure to provide many years of trouble-free racing. The fuel models feature a fluorocarbon rubber (FKM) plunger while the nitrous ones have a PTFE version. And if you’re really looking to maximize the effects of being bottle-fed, take a look at the NOS Super Hi-Flo bottle valve assemblies. With a 1.5” pressure gauge and billet aluminum siphon tube, these valves and tubes are the highest-flowing that NOS has to offer. There’s rarely a bad day when you’re on the spray!
