AMD & Eddy Bear Foundation Presents “Fill The Shell” Stuffed Animal Toy Drive

Auto Metal Direct and The Eddy Bear Foundation have partnered up to present the “Fill The Shell” toy drive. Amid all of the traveling that the AMD team will be doing from car show to show, they’ll present an empty shell of a car that they’re inviting all to bring a new, unwrapped stuffed animal (with the tags still on it) to drop in the shell.

Each of these new stuffed animals will be donated to a local children’s hospital by the Eddy Bear Foundation to help cheer up those kids who are in need a little bit of cheer and companionship during their treatments and healing. It’s a fantastic organization that gives 100-percent back to these kids. This effort has also been reorganized from a blood drive to the new “Bear Drive.”

Here’s the original press release from Eddy Bear Foundation:
For the past 24 years, BloodDrag has proudly supported local blood banks with great success. However, recent shows have presented challenges, with the blood banks becoming increasingly difficult to work with. Our last event, the blood bank we had scheduled didn’t even make an appearance, which made us seriously think about making a change.

Some of you may already know about Eddy’s personal charity, the Eddy Bear Foundation. It’s an incredible cause that brings smiles to kids in need by providing them with a lovable stuffed animal during times of crisis, offering a bit of cheer in their lives. We’ve decided it’s time to shift gears and focus 100% of our efforts on a charity that we believe will benefit the most from our support.

So, moving forward, BloodDrag will now be known as Bear Drive. You can find all the show information and merchandise supporting our new cause on our website. While the name and cause may have changed, rest assured, it’s the same great team behind the scenes. With this new direction, we’re planning to make the shows even bigger and more fun for everyone.

The main focus of the show will now be on collecting stuffed animals for the kids. (and showcasing amazing rides) Bring a bear and join us on August 31st for a day filled with custom vehicles and supporting a fantastic cause! eddybear.org#BearDrive #EddyBearFoundation #NewNameNewCause
