American Powertrain to Give Away Another Tremec TKX During Hot Rod Power Tour

You gotta give credit where credit is due, and American Powertrain knows how to create a tradition. Over a decade ago, they launched #baconshift, an annual holiday tradition where customers of American Powertrain are greeted by a pound of hickory smoked Benton’s bacon inside of their purchase order.

And just a few years ago, American Powertrain took over the main stage on the final day of Hot Rod Power Tour to give away a brand-new 5-speed Tremec TKX manual transmission to one lucky raffle ticket holder. For many attendees, this single event was the sole reason they stayed for the final day. For others, it’s why they did the tour at all.

In all honesty, American Powertrain upped the ante with this giveaway, and this year they’ve reunited with Tremec to keep the tradition alive for 2026. Only attendees of the Power Tour can participate and you better be ready and waiting by the stage or they’ll call another lucky person’s number if you’re not there.

Here’s the original post made to American Powertrain’s Facebook page last week:
Who is ready to hit the road this summer? We are back as a sponsor for Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour 2026! We will be teaming up again with Tremec Transmissions for another giveaway this year. Stay tuned for more..#savethestick
