When Dodge’s Hellcat Challenger and Charger came out in 2015, we knew tons would be wrecked pretty quickly. If you remember, one of our early articles was about a sublime green 2015 Hellcat Challenger that was wrecked an hour after it left the showroom. That one only had 64 miles on the odometer when it was wrecked. Now, fast forward two years since their release and we’ve found a wrecked one with even less miles than that!
Cleveland Power and Performance just brought in this once beautiful B5 Blue 2016 Hellcat Challenger that was written off with only 18 miles on the clock! Yes, you read that right. 18 miles! Based on the fact it has almost no gas in it, we’re going to assume it was either written off during a test drive or a mechanic doing a PDI road test. What we can’t understand though is it appears to have been in a rollover yet not a single air bag went off! Crazy! The team over at Cleveland Power and Performance has listed the Hellcat drive train as a part of their “Turn Key Pallet” program for $34,000 USD so we hope it’ll go into something cool!
Ah yes! People that never owned or built or driven something fast but have the power of a pen to get one and get surprised by what a car with that much guts has under the right foot. It’s not like this is a unique tale and i guess not many will survive. sad , so sad. Maybe said people should return to minivans and 6 cylinder cars to get around instead before they kill themselves.
