Classic Industries not only sells a plethora of parts for your classic Mopar, but they enjoy classic cars and trucks stopping by their showroom in Huntington Beach California. The best part is you never know what might stop in. With so many shops near the showroom, there is constantly a flow of incredible cars. One in particular was a daily driven B-body that frequently visits the showroom.
When we talk about B-body Mopars its often that we think of Chargers or Roadrunners but this one is not. A 1963 Plymouth Savoy is probably one of the last B-body Mopars that come to mind. With its great body lines and unique style how car you not like like it? The coolest part is the car is daily driven.
The Savoy is owned by Steve Benoit of Monrovia, California. Steve is employed at Mosher’s Musclecar Motors who specializes in 1962-1965 Dodge and Plymouth B-bodies. The Savoy wears the shop name on each door panel and draws a lot of attention around town. With the Mosher’s shop being close by they often see Steve stopping in to purchase parts almost weekly.
Steve says the ’63 Savoy was purchased in northern California about 13 years ago. After three years of ownership, the car was fully restored inside and out, still retaining many of its original parts. The drivetrain on this Savoy is still the original 225ci slant-six and TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Steve told Classic Industries that it’s a driver-quality build for now, and it still hits the California highways almost every day.
Whether you have a daily driven 1963 Plymouth Savoy or in the middle of restoring your 1969 Charger, Classic Industries has the parts that you need. Steve and the crew at Mosher’s rely on the quality and selection of parts to keep their vehicles moving. If you have a classic A, B or E-body Mopar remember to call Classic Industries so they can help you find the parts you need.
