
Last year, Holley threw sanity to the wind and welcomed Vice Grip Garage’s Derek Bieri to do pretty much, whatever the heck he wanted. And that was taking nearly a dozen Dodge minivans, strip them down to shells, and have them race around the circle track in a pseudo NASCAR-like race.
Unbelievably, Dylan McCool managed to wheel his soccer mom-mobile to the inaugural event’s championship but not without spurring the ire of some rather seasoned racers. Clamoring for a second shot at the title, Van-Demonium returns MoParty, happening this September to Bowling Green, KY.
What has also become the grand finale to Saturday evening’s festivities, Van-Demonium is certain to put butts in the seats as Chrysler Town & Country’s, Dodge Caravans and Plymouth Voyagers take to the banks of Beech Bend Raceway’s asphalt circle track – after the burnout shootout and mullet contest. (No, we’re not kidding.)
