Have you been sitting on the fence whether to sign up for this June’s Hot Rod Power Tour? Have you been needing a better reason to fire up the ol’ Mopar project and enjoy a week’s worth of cruising and socializing? Well, quit ‘yer hemmin’ and hawin’ and join Mopar Connection Magazine as we partner up with The Automotive himself, Ryan Brutt and link up with his annual “MoPowered Tour” group for some Mopar-centric fun!
Each year of the Hot Rod Power Tour, Brutt organizes a group of two dozen or more Mopars – that he calls “The MoPowered Tour” – and leads in his trusty 2009 B5 Blue Challenger R/T down the selected route with a couple of cool stops mingled in each day. Brutt’s group gathers each morning at a kitschy, local diner for breakfast before heading off to the official venue. Then they depart to take in one local point of interest before reaching their next hotel.

It’s a great way to pair up with like-minded folks, travel in a group of skilled wrenches who know the in’s and out’s of Mopars, and enrichen your Power Tour experience! Plus, it’s free! As stated earlier, Mopar Connection will be joining the fray aboard our big blue barge “Marsha”, a 1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible that we’ve been preparing these last few years exclusively on our YouTube channel, which you can see here.
And if you’re traveling from any of the southern states up Interstate 65 to Joliet, IL, we’ll be meeting up on Sunday morning at 8:30am in the Cracker Barrel parking lot off of Hwy 31 (exit 1) in Franklin, KY and driving up together as a caravan. There’s safety in numbers, and we all want to have a safe and enjoyable Power Tour, so why not travel together? Plus, Marsha’s trunk will be full of discounted T-shirts and free stickers all week long!
