Lifter issues with Mopar’s Gen III Hemis are well-known. COMP Cams has a solution with its Non-MDS Lifters. They’re drop-in replacements for the factory non-MDS units and will keep all eight cylinders constantly engaged. The lifter design enhances oil retention around the axle and bearing to help reduce wear and increase durability. Extra material is strategically placed at the bottom of the lifter to add strength and stiffness to the critical roller area.
These new Gen II Hemi non-MDS lifters are now in stock at Summit Racing Equipment. Gone are the days of using potentially harmful stock MDS lifters or factory MSD yokes.
COMP Cams Non-MDS Lifters come with or without the yokes. Summit sells these lifters as a full set of 16 with lifter Yokes or just the 16 lifters alone. If you have a Gen III Hemi with the MDS system, you will have to remove it and replace the factory lifter yokes with COMP’s lifter yokes. These lifters will fit 2003-19 engines.
