Despite all of the latest techno doodads and whiz-bang doohickeys to make your classic muscle car into a tire-frying monster, feeding that beast still requires a top tier fuel delivery system. And no, we’re not talking about solely modern Mopar power here, either. Whether you’re suckin’ in atmosphere through a double-pumper or a Hellcat blower, that powerplant needs fuel and fast.
That’s why Russell Performance is leading the charge, helping deliver a steady torrent of go-juice without cavitation, surging or backflow. Just recently, Russell paired up with the biggest performance automotive retailer in the world to place its Barbed Fuel Check Valves – that’s right, none other than Summit Racing.

Fuel is the lifeblood of your carbureted engine. If it tries to flow back to to the tank, it could cause serious problems like fuel pressure loss, hard starts, or damage to the entire fuel system.
Russell Performance designed the Barbed Fuel Check Valves to flow fuel in one direction and prevent it from being siphoned back into the tank when the engine shuts off. Their 304 stainless steel check piston minimizes restriction and pressure loss.
The check valves are designed for use with gasoline-only fuel systems with a minimum of 3 PSI of fuel pressure and maximum of 10 PSI. They are available with 5/16- or 3/8-inch hose barbs and have a black anodized finish. Click HERE to check out Russell Performance’s Barbed Fuel Check Valves at Summit Racing.
