It sure does seem like the Blackbird Performance catalog is just a big list of must-haves for the G3 Hemi. And that list keeps growing, most recently supplemented by some timely accessories for their proprietary aluminum front covers.
The new timing pointer is simple, versatile, affordable, and effective with adjustment in two directions and a simple cut-to-fit pointer. With so many OEM and aftermarket crankshaft dampers available, it was important to incorporate several degrees of flexibility into the design. While it won’t fit every application, it should fit a great many, especially since its reversible.
Alternator brackets are another long-awaited addition. Two versions can be had: one for 93mm Denso-style bodies and one for 102mm Bosch-style bodies. Both mount it low to the driver’s side, well out of the way of any critical business up top.
They each come with a stout aluminum bracket, spacers, and hardware for easy installation. Note that neither will fit applications with a motor plate. Those folks can use the Speed Doctor mounting kit which works great with Blackbird’s plate.
