Video: Holley Catches John Miller’s 440+6 Superbird Tribute at MoParty

The Holley MoParty is an annual event that celebrates all things Mopar. It takes place at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. There are various activities at the event, like drag racing, autocross, burnouts and car shows.

Back in September of 2025, one attendee made an eight-hour trip from Toledo, Ohio and brought his dream car. John Miller had wanted a 1970 Plymouth Superbird since he was 12 years old. But with the prices for a real version being quite high, he decided to build one because he planned to drive it.

Starting with a 1970 Plymouth Satellite shell, he added an original 1970 440 Six-Barrel engine he’s owned since he was 21. Making his way through the rest of the car, he opted for as many authentic Superbird parts as possible. He added an aluminum wing with the correct bracing in the trunk as well.

The car has a 4-speed pistol grip shifter, factory suspension components, disc brake conversion and many other personal touches. John has taken the car to Hot Rod Power Tour, the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio and even to work when he feels like it.

It’s the car he’s wanted since he was 12 years old and he drives it the way he wants too. The whole story, as recorded by Holley, is a real family affair as well, with his relatives and multiple cars taking the trip all together. If you get the chance to attend this event it is scheduled for September 18-19, 2026, in Kentucky. You won’t want to miss it!
