Videos: Gen III Valve Spring Compressor Back in Stock at Mancini Racing

As the summer ends, Mancini Racing is rolling out its late-season specials. Mancini Racing is proud to announce that its professional and extremely popular Gen III valve spring compressor is back in stock. The Mancini Racing valve spring tool is specifically designed to permit the easy removal of the unique Gen III Hemi valve springs.

The valve spring compressor is a specialized tool used to safely compress the valve spring, which is under significant tension. When the spring is compressed, it permits the removal (or installation) of the valve keepers (also known as valve locks) and valve springs from the Hemi cylinder heads. The tool’s design works equally well with the heads installed on the block or off the block lying on a workbench.

With the rocker arms and shaft removed, the valve spring tool bolts to two rocker pedestals with an adjustable “bridge” over the valve, which contacts the valve spring retainer. Unlike a lever-type or C-clamp-style compressor, the Mancini valve spring tool is a screw-type construction. The design allows the user to control the spring compression and limits the chances of injury or damage to the cylinder head, ensuring a safe and reliable operation.

Its construction allows the gradual compression of the valve spring by tightening a fastener. The valve spring’s tension is removed by unthreading the tool’s fastener. Additionally, the screw-type valve spring tool is compact and works well in the tight confines of late-model Hemi Mopars. It is also effective with most Hemi-swapped vehicles.

If a valve spring compressor is not the year-end list, check out the additional deals. Mancini’s late-season specials include big-block Mopar aluminum water pump and housing packages with everything you need to keep your Mopar running cool. Each package is offered with standard or high-volume water pumps and a billet or chrome water neck.

Extra end-of-season highlights include a huge selection of restoration throttle cables for small- and big-block engines and Street Hemi applications for most A-, B-, and E-body vehicles. Mancini has opportunities to update vintage Detroit iron with MBM Disc Brake Conversion Packages, transforming a Mopar from the Dark Ages to the 21st century. Lastly, Mancini has OEM-style key sets and cylinders for the ignition, glove box, console, trunk, and door locks to replace the worn-out units.
