Wanna Make Horsepower Full Time? Callies Is Looking For Machine Operators

Let’s face it, things are looking kinda tough out there. Just the price of a gallon of milk a brief look at Twitter is enough to make you want to consider living in an “off-grid” wood cabin in the Appalachians. But don’t despair! There are still great opportunities out there for car guys and gals looking to start a new career doing something they love.

Recently, Callies Performance Products announced that they’re looking for qualified machine operators – or those willing to learn “on the job”. And yes, we’re talking steady hours, Monday-through-Friday with no mandatory overtime.

While precision machining and manufacturing experience is preferred it’s not a deal breaker as long as you’re willing to learn. Again, it’s not a deal breaker because even “green” applicants will start at $17.50/hour. If you’ve got more experience, that starting wage will go up, of course.

And since Callies is working around the clock, they’re also offering bonuses for those looking to pick up 2nd and 3rd shifts – 10% for 2nd shift and 5% for those working 3rd shift. It’s an easy way to bump your starting pay.

There’s also a whole mess of additional incentives that come for working for a family-owned, and family-oriented company that respects its employees as much as it does its customers. (Performance evaluations, attendance incentives and PPO Medical Health Plans, etc.)

If you’re interested in starting a new career with Callies, you can apply online HERE or apply in person at Callies Performance Products, 901 S. Union Street, Fostoria, OH.
