Chances are if you know performance brands, and more specifically high-performance ECUs, you’re more than familiar with FuelTech. What you might not know however is that FuelTech’s very own founder, Anderson Dick, owns this beautiful (and blown 340) 1972 Plymouth ‘Cuda. Just last year, we visited Dick at FuelTech’s headquarters in Ball Ground, Georgia, where we detailed his beautiful ‘Cuda and the full build on video (see below for the full details).
As noted in our video, Dick has owned his blown ‘Cuda for quite some time. While he admitted the car was originally a numbers-matching example, that didn’t stop any modifications. This Mopar started life in a black hue, yet it was the previous owner who decided it was time for a change. “It wasn’t originally this color,” explained Dick. “It was painted by the previous owner about 14 (now 15) years ago, and he did beautiful work with his son.”
The color is Mopar’s venerable Sublime Green, a finished so desired, you can still find modern Dodge and RAM vehicles rocking it from the factory today. Safe to say, your car’s color says a lot about its style. Dick recently took to social media as he’s ready for a change in color pallet. In this recent Facebook post, Dick is asking you to help him decide what color to paint his blown ‘Cuda next. The color options range from Plum Crazy Purple to Lemon Twist (or Top Banana, depending on your flavor of choice) and everything in between.
