Hurry Up! Hughes Engines Has a Hemi or Two For Sale

While the experts at Hughes Engines are much more known for their work with big and small block Mopars, they’ve also had a hand in a G3 Hemi build or two. In fact, they’ve stroked a 6.1L to 426 cubic inches and proceeded to make a healthy 740 horsepower with it.

Right now, they have another stroker available for any Hemi-hungry enthusiast to buy and finish building. This one is based on a 5.7L block and features a 4.080” Molnar crankshaft to bump the total up to 401 cubes.

This short block was built to be bomb-proof and the component list tells the tale. They only have one and it’s priced at a smokin’ $6,640 while it lasts. Give them a call at 309-745-9558 to check availability or keep the parts list in your back pocket for your next rocket.

This short block was originally built to be a max effort premium Hemi engine for advertising our shop, but we lost our machinists and switched our shop efforts to the wedge engines parts only. No expense was spared on parts quality or labor operations.
