Currently, Mopar Connection Magazine is working hand-in-hand with the team at Vintage Air to install their awesome new Gen V modern air conditioning system into our 1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible that we named “Marsha.” As many will note, there’s just not a lot of options for customizing or even restoring a C-body.
Thankfully, Vintage Air’s ProLine Builder Series of components allows the hands-on car builder to pick-and-choose from a vast catalog of parts to assemble their own, entirely unique heater/defroster and/or air conditioning system. And just recently did Vintage Air reveal its latest lineup of control panels.
These new controls offer either knob or slide controllers, feature LED backlighting and can be had in a variety of finish options depending upon the look you’re aiming to get. Vintage Air wants their system to blend in or stand out as much as you want them to, and their ProLine Series will equip you with exactly that.
In a recent Facebook post, Vintage Air wrote the following:
Our new three-knob and three-lever ProLine Controls feature LED backlighting, blue “A/C on” indicators and multiple finish options. These controls combine modern functionality with timeless style. Streamline and rectangular versions are a “drop-in” for the original Gen II designs.
