Edelbrock VRS Tuning Kit, COMP Pushrods & FAST G3 Hemi Billet Valve Covers

For those paying close attention, you’ll have picked up on the avalanche of new Mopar products that the Edelbrock Performance Group has unleashed since SEMA 2025. We here at Mopar Connection Magazine have been trying to roll out the press releases in a somewhat steady stream but it’s becoming a little too much for us to keep up with – so we’re just gonna crack open the flood gates a little with this trio of announcements:

FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technologies) comes in first with these gorgeous CNC-machined billet aluminum valve covers for all G3 Hemi engines.

Not only do they provide superior strength (over factory plastic) and clean, modern styling, but Edelbrock has integrated in a factory-style O-ring groove to provide a leak-free seal and full modularity, meaning they work with all Edelbrock breather elements, fittings, and PCV adapters for custom setups.

Here’s the original press release:
FAST proudly announces the launch of its new Gen III Hemi Billet Valve Covers (FST4131), bringing uncompromising quality, durability, and customization to one of today’s most popular engine platforms. Precision-machined from high-quality billet aluminum, these valve covers combine modern aesthetics with the engineering excellence that has long defined the FAST brand.

Designed with both reliability and flexibility in mind, the new Gen III Hemi Billet Valve Covers utilize a factory-style O-ring groove to ensure a perfect seal, maintaining performance and durability even under the most demanding conditions. Additionally, the covers are fully compatible with Edelbrock’s modular engine accessory components, providing builders and enthusiasts with the freedom to configure their setups with a wide range of breather elements, fittings, and PCV adapters.

The FAST Gen III Hemi Billet Valve Covers are the latest in a growing family of products designed to deliver style, strength, and innovation to modern performance applications. With this release, FAST continues its commitment to providing enthusiasts with cutting-edge solutions that offer both premium design and unmatched customization.

Although not specific to only Mopar applications, COMP Cams’ new Xtreme Race G2 pushrods are something that many serious engine builders are going to want to consider when assembling their next season’s engine. Made from thick-wall 4130 aircraft-quality Chromoly tubing, these push rods feature 40% more column strength, a 210° radius tip allowing for improved rocker arm clearance in high-lift applications and can be had in .107” wall for 5/16” rockers or .136” for 3/8” rockers.

Here’s the original press release:
COMP Cams, a leader in high-performance engine components, is proud to announce the launch of its latest pushrod line – Xtreme Race G2 Pushrods.

Manufactured from 4130 aircraft-quality, seamless Chromoly tubing, these are centerless ground and equipped with 210° radius tips for enhanced rocker arm adjuster clearance in high-lift or compromised-geometry applications. With wall thicknesses of .106” for 5/16” rocker arms and .137” for 3/8” rockers, these new components offer maximum stiffness, ensuring optimal performance even in setups with limited or no other diameter options.

With up to 40% more column strength over traditional .080″ wall pushrods, these 58 RC hardened and carburized tubes are held to tight runout standards, ensuring compatibility with any guide plate setup. Finished with a durable black oxide coating, these pushrods not only perform exceptionally but also feature a sleek, professional appearance that complements any engine build. Whether for street applications or competitive racing, COMP Cams continues to set the standard for quality and innovation in the performance aftermarket.

Lastly is something that anyone who’s jumped on the VRS bandwagon has been wanting for a while: a comprehensive calibration kit for the Edelbrock VRS carburetor. These carburetors aren’t like your daddy’s old 4150 double pumper, and offer a whole lot more room for adjustment and fine-tuning. This means you’ll really want to be on your “carburetor game” when it comes to getting your 650, 750, 850 and now 950 VRS working right.

The Edelbrock VRS Calibration Kit comes with (36) 1/4-28 main fuel jets for global changes; (6) four-window power valves for optimal cruise fueling; (44) 6-32 jets for idle, intermediate, and power enrichment fuel control; (40) 10-32 air bleeds for easy fine adjustments of all circuits; and (3) different squirters to tune the accel pump shot duration.

[While not included, we also strongly suggest picking up a digital AFR gauge from FAST and an old school dial vacuum pump if you haven’t already. –Ed.]

Here’s the original press release:
The VRS-4150 line of race and performance carburetors is the most versatile and feature-rich, out-of-the-box carburetor available on the market today. The VRS-4150 Calibration Kit provides enthusiasts, racers, and carb tuners with everything needed to fine-tune any VRS gas carburetor for optimal performance.

With over 130 precision-machined parts, this kit provides all the necessary components to ensure a finely tuned engine, offering optimal performance both on and off track. The key components included are:

  • 4 of each even-numbered main fuel jets ranging from size 62 to 78, giving users the ability to make global fuel curve changes.
  • 2 of each 4-window power valves with 5.5 Hg, 6.5 Hg, and 7.5 Hg ratings to adjust power enrichment points.
  • 44 6-32 jets in sets of four allow adjustments to the idle, intermediate, and power enrichment circuits on the metering blocks.
  • 40 10-32 air bleed jets in sets of four, allowing for quick and easy fine-tuning of the main, intermediate, and idle circuits from the top of the carburetor.
  • .033, .035, and .040 squirters, to tune the duration of the acceleration pump shot.

All jets are manufactured in the USA using high-quality, precision-machined brass to ensure durability and accurate sizing. By providing the most commonly needed jets, bleeds, and power valves in one convenient package, Edelbrock gives customers the components they need to fine-tune their VRS Carburetors with ease and accuracy.

The VRS-4150 Calibration Kit is now available for purchase through the Edelbrock website, as well as authorized dealers and distributors. For more information, visit www.edelbrock.com.
