If you’re wowed by the no-budget-is-too-big super custom muscle cars that dot the floor of SEMA every year, then you’ll certainly know about the Ring Brothers and their most recent Mopar project “Tusk.” This incredible one-off machine leaves little to nothing untouched from its original form; from its Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III custom chassis to its 1,000-horsepower 426 “Hellephant” supercharged Hemi crate engine.
While custom pieces like these often rarely see any sort of track time – if they ever even see the light of day – it’s nice to know that the Ring Brothers spared no expense when it came to bringing Tusk to a halt. Equipped with Baer Brakes’ Extreme 6S six piston calipers and billet Remaster master cylinder, each of the calipers were uniquely powder coated to match Tusk’s golden rims and similar paint highlights and tail stripe.
Per Holley, Baer’s parent company, “Baer brakes are designed using only the finest materials, processes and engineering available. Baer is committed to delivering the best performance possible.” Made out of Arizona, Baer works hand-in-hand with each customer to find the best brake upgrade kit for every application. Whether you’re looking to swap your classic Mopar from drum to discs, or radically improve your race car’s track braking, Baer delivers some of the best braking performance possible.
And yes! Baer’s got modern disc brake kits that fit within your factory 15-inch rims if you’re not looking to up your wheel size. In fact, Mopar Connection Magazine updated it’s 1969 Dodge Charger project car “Brazen” with this very kit. We’ll link the video below for you to check out:
