Flaming River Offers First Class Chrysler Alternators

We might suppose that the alternator is one of the most overlooked parts of an engine bay. With stiff competition from shiny valve covers, aluminum intake manifolds, and aftermarket air cleaners, a Mopar-married charging unit usually sits quietly at the passenger’s side forefront. Admittedly, most are a dull gray aluminum, but even the chrome ones have trouble standing out in the under-hood crowd.

Flaming River’s alternators do not have that problem. Carved from solid chunks of billet aluminum, each is an absolute thing of beauty that is the ultimate in both form and function. The housing design is almost a dead-ringer for an original unit, but passers-by aren’t likely to let it go unnoticed. With a machined finish that’s clean, elegant, and sturdy, a Flaming River alternator can add some significant class to any engine compartment.

Of course, they’re workhorses too. 150 amp versions are available with single or double-groove pulleys while the behemoth, a 240 amp monster, can be had with the double-groove only. More than 100 amps are on tap at idle so you can feel free to sit at a stoplight with the headlights on and radio blaring. All are self-exciting with one-wire hookup that makes installation a breeze.

Made in the USA with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty, reliability isn’t a concern either. You get what you pay for when it comes to car parts and Flaming River’s audacious alternators are sure to impress.
