If you’ve driven your classic Mopar in the summer time heat, you know how brutal it can be without properly working air conditioning. While almost every vehicle manufactured today comes with that comfort option, many of our beloved classics didn’t. Even when they did come equipped with the air conditioning option, finding parts to keep the old system going can be tough and as the summers get hotter and hotter, we find our factory systems have a hard time keeping up.
YearOne wants to help keep your cool this summer with their Vintage Air Gen-IV SureFit kit. This complete kit does everything; with air conditioning, heating and defrost all combined into one product and designed specifically for all 1970-1974 Plymouth Barracuda and Dodge Challenger models equipped with factory A/C and Rallye gauges.
The SureFit kit is designed to mount to existing holes in your dash and firewall without drilling into your restored classic and without having to fabricate any type of special bracket or part. The kit features electronic servo motor controls, heater valve, and a new in-dash control panel. It comes complete with mounting brackets, hardware, louvers, duct hose, wiring harness, compressor, condenser, standard drier, pre-formed aluminum lines, high capacity blower and installation instructions to make for an easy install. Just to note, it will not fit Hemi engines without major fabrication/alterations to the brackets.
