Mopar Connection to Present Paul Jacobs’ Award-Winning 2-Tone Road Runner @ MoParty

Believe it or not, the fastest-growing Mopar enthusiast event – the annual Holley MoParty – is coming up fast. Happening this coming September 18th and 19th, “America’s Only High Performance Mopar Event” (the official motto of MoParty, FYI) is coming in hot with a whole lot more swap meet vendors, exciting events, drag racing, the fan-favorite Mopar ride-along experience, and Vice Grip Garage’s “Vandemonium” – not to mention an all-new monster truck show – offers tons for folks to see and enjoy.

And not to be outdone, Mopar Connection Magazine is returning to the Manufacturer’s Midway with some pretty exciting things to check out:

While MCM’s venerable “Brazen” Charger project car will be sitting this year out (we’re midway through a 572 Hemi swap), this will be very likely your last time to see “Project Marsha,” our 1970 Plymouth Fury convertible in person.

We will also be debuting an all new “Real Car Guys” T-shirt design in our tent too (along with what T-shirts and Carburetor Hat Tools we have left in stock – all heavily discounted for show attendees).

Oh yeah, and don’t forget our annual Scavenger Hunt that we host every Saturday morning. We’ve literally given away over $5,000 in cash and prizes over the years to our lucky winners. So you definitely do not want to miss out on your chance to win some seriously cool stuff. (More info coming soon!)

But the biggest announcement that we’ve got to make is that Dixie Restoration’s own Paul “PJ” Jacobs – one of the Mopar hobby’s most renowned restoration experts – will be Mopar Connection Magazine’s special guest, displaying his award-winning two-tone ’69 Plymouth Road Runner (see above right). Possibly one of the most correct restorations in recent years, Jacob’s ‘Runner wowed attendees at the last MCACN and is definitely another great reason to visit the MCM booth during this coming MoParty.

Jacobs will also have some of Dixie Restoration’s flawlessly restored alternators, starters and more on display both at our booth as well as a smaller tent up on the swap meet hillside above the racetrack. So if you see something you like, you’ve got two opportunities to take home some of Jacobs’ unrivaled work.
