For most of us “old guys” we got our “car news” from Hot Rod, Car Craft and the few Mopar enthusiast titles allotted to us. Today, being a diehard Mopar lover is demonstrably easier as dedicated groups on social media, forums and digital publications like Mopar Connection Magazine deliver you the best articles, technical tutorials and product reviews available today. Additionally, video juggernaut YouTube has lured thousands into becoming content creators, generating new and entertaining videos on the regular.
One such full-time YouTuber is Dylan McCool. While you’ll find plenty of Brand X material on his channel, Dylan is a true blue Mopar guy and his collection of deceptively ratty muscle cars and oddball malaise-era machines speak to this claim. With over 600,000 subscribers, Dylan has built himself quite the audience looking for the next relic revival or low-buck build. Of his cars, his ’69 Dodge Charger has been a perennial favorite and one of the few to make multiple appearances on his channel over the years.
Recently, suspension and handling headquarters QA1 shined some limelight on the sponsored content creator, highlighting his Charger that fulfilled four-of-the-five stops of the 2024 Hot Rod Power Tour this past June. Equipped with QA1‘s double adjustable shocks, and full coil-over conversion B-body kit, McCool’s Charger in its patchwork F8 Green and gray primer paint job, is easily spottable in much of the recent Power Tour coverage published on YouTube and here on Mopar Connection’s own channel.
