Funny thing. If you ask the ol’ boys, they’d tell you that today’s kids just aren’t “into” cars anymore. Well apparently, somebody’s parents did their kids right because what we’ve got here is a great story about how a cherry red Hemi Challenger brought a pair of kids together.
According to The Chive, “One afternoon David walked out to his car only to find this little surprise hiding underneath his windshield wiper. Praying that it wasn’t a ticket, David grabbed the piece of paper to find it was a special note. The mystery person clearly liked David’s car, resulting in them leaving a phone number. They even prompted David with a question so that he didn’t even have to start the conversation.”
As noted, David’s ’10 Challenger was equipped with a 5.7L Hemi V8, which apparently this horsepower-loving young lady ready, really liked. Figuring at least he and she would have something to talk about (and curious to know if the author of the note was indeed a human female, David sent her a text. Why not, what did he have to lose?
According to David, he did meet up with Meghan, who was “actually quite the good looking girl. At least that’s what he tells people.” Regardless, David handled the situation like a champ and managed a date with a cute girl. Whether it was more than just a fling we don’t know, but at least the car is still his.
Uh, easiest date of his life is a double entendre that needs to be explained. Did he get to 3rd gear with her? 🙂
Congrats on the girl meets car meets guy story. I met my first wife via my 68 Impala Conv’t that she thought was ‘cute’. We got married, so I covered all the ‘gears’ with her.
