USCT Motorsports Releases New Gen III HEMI Swap Parts

The problem for a lot of do-it-yourselfers is quality fabrication. Many of us are handy and know how to turn a wrench, but fabricating small parts for our classic Mopars can be a little more than we can or want to tackle. Then arises the issue of finding a fabrication shop that you can trust and that will not break the bank. USCT Motorsports does a great job of creating parts that the home garage mechanic can install without breaking the bank.

Recently USCT Motorsports has released two amazing products for Gen III HEMI engine swaps. They have created an adjustable Gen III HEMI Engine Mounts and a factory K-Frame Notch kit that makes it possible to run a factory front sump oil pan in conjunction with your factory Mopar k-frame. These products fix two of the biggest hurdles of swapping a Gen III HEMI into your classic Mopar.

The adjustable Gen III HEMI engine mounts are currently available for A, B, and E-body Mopars. These mounts allow you to move the HEMI forward 0-2”+ and up 0-2”. This solves a lot of clearance issues for items like steering linkage, headers, starters, alternators, etc.

USCT Motorsports told us that with the adjustable engine mounts and k-frame notch, they were able to fit a Hellcat engine into a B-body without notching the frame or modifying the firewall. There is plenty of clearance on the back of the motor between firewall and back of engine. The frame did not need notched for the alternator. There is still clearance for the factory hood and room for radiator and fans.

They will be releasing a universal Gen III HEMI swap motor mount soon. The design will be the exact same but with a universal frame bracket that is universal and ready to weld on to you vehicle of choice.

Next up is the k-frame notch kit. Finding oil pans that fit your specific classic Mopar for a Gen III HEMI swap can be difficult. There are very limited options, but now with USCT Motorsports k-frame notch, you can use a factory Mopar front sump Gen III HEMI oil pan. While the k-frame notch gives you clearance, it also increases the strength and stiffness of your factory k-frame. It’s a win win, save money on new oil pan and strengthen your Mopar’s suspension at the same time.

USCT Motorsports is always thinking outside the box and creating products that make sense. These products allow us to have a little more freedom when swapping a Gen III HEMI. USCT Motorsports also offers transmission crossmembers and trans tunnel perimeter frame for popular modern Mopar transmissions. If you are headed to Carlisle Chrysler Nationals this weekend stop by and see the guys at the big USCT Motorsports tent or give them a call for all your Gen III HEMI swap and chassis stiffening needs.
