Callies has expanded their products to 17 different part families. For Mopar products, Callies offers Big Block Mopar and Gen III Hemi Crankshafts in their Ultra Billet and Compstar lines. Callies also offer Billet Crankshafts in their Compstar line for Viper v10 engines.
Over the last two years, Callies has completely redesigned their crank line to be more efficient. Along with this massive re-design, Callies facilitates many direct connections to the users of their products, such as Billy Briggs Racing Engines. This allows Callies to have direct input from the customers to improve their product.
Even though crankshaft failures are obviously not desired, Callies always jump at the opportunity to improve their crankshafts to fix the failure point which results in a better part.
All Callies Ultra Billet and Compstar Billet crankshafts are spun and machined in the USA. Callies Magnum series of crankshafts are also forged and machined in the USA. Just announced is the Apex series of Crankshafts which will fall in between the Compstar and Billet Crankshafts, for those who need something stronger than a Compstar but don’t need a Billet Crankshaft.
Callies Compstar line of crankshafts are forged overseas with Callies’ own forging dies. The raw steel is mixed to Callies specifications and forged to a hardness that Callies desires. Once they are stateside, they go through a rigorous quality control screening and then final machining.
