If you’ve spent any time around vintage Mopar racing, you know names like Ron Mancini, Ray Angelelli, and Bob Karakashian. These aren’t guys who just wandered into the pits with a set of slicks—they helped build the place. For decades, they’ve been fixtures in the Dodge and Plymouth performance world, the kind of longtime players whose names are woven into the fabric of Direct Connection via plenty of horsepower-driven decisions. Heck, they’ve been at it so long that they might actually qualify as factory equipment.
In the decades after buying a 1969 Dodge Super Bee Six Pack brand new, Mr. Karakashian earned his “Mr. Six Pack” moniker with a svelte set of hands that could tune any tri-powered induction setup with all the deftness needed to dominate on the drag strip.
Similarly, Angelelli and Mancini’s time spent burning rubber turned into a directly-connected juggernaut supplier in Mancini Racing. With a catalog as long and deep as the runners on an Edelbrock CH-6B, Mancini keeps a ton of Six Barrel stuff in stock like oval air filters, rebuild kits, linkage, mounting brackets, and other installation accessories.
If it were up to us, we’d get ours from the guys who were there at the start, the fellows who helped furnish the staging lanes, and the dudes who paid their dues one quarter-mile at a time: Mancini Racing.
