Blackbird Performance Products is helping the G3 Hemi swap world take another big step forward with their support of the new G3 Hemi Nostalgia Muscle exhibition class at the upcoming Nostalgia Drag Racing League’s (NDRL) Hot Rod Nationals.
Mike Schaefer, a recent Blackbird-equipped G3 Hemi convert, came up with the idea and drove it to fruition. His 1968 Dodge Dart drag car sports a 1300+ HP Race Spec crate engine that can put front tires straight up into the air with authority, no doubt making him a G3 devotee.
For Blackbird, sponsoring the class is all about “giving Gen 3 swapped cars a dedicated place to compete, bringing together a growing community of builders and racers, and pushing the limits of what these combinations can do.”
