Lego: the small colorful interlocking plastic bricks. Everyone has some type of experience with this very popular toy growing up. Lego pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways, to construct objects such as vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Anything constructed can then be taken apart again, and the pieces used to make other objects. The possibility of things you can create is endless!
At some point, it’s almost certain you will lose numerous pieces and it’s guaranteed you will step on a piece of Lego at least once in your life. Everyone will tell you, those things hurt! Ludo Van Der Veen decided to sit down one day and create something out of this world. Using thousands of pieces of Lego, he created a fully working 1:5 scale 1970 Dodge Charger! Weighing in at 18 pounds total, it features a realistic working V8 engine, working steering and full air suspension.
Ludo has some real talent. Not only did he create that awesome 1970 Charger but he also decided to build a Lego replica of the 1958 Plymouth Fury from “Christine!” Weighing in at 22 pounds and taking 10 months to build, this replica is amazing.
