
Running a factory steel hood might give you that cool factory sleeper look, but it certainly does constrain your options when it comes to cramming a raised-deck (RB) big block between the inner fenders. That’s why INDY Cylinder Heads has done the hard part and figured out the perfect solution for your stock-appearing needs and horsepower wants.
INDY’s 440-H1-SEZ Head Kit is the cure for the common clearance problem – particularly for smaller A-bodies! The as-cast 440 SEZ Indy Head incorporates both the original-design raised intake runner and stock low exhaust port location. And rest assured, the increased intake volume (270cc 440 SEZ) and long valve design equals more power.

The factory bolt patterns means most all standard exhaust headers will work. Heck, your existing stock 906 exhaust gaskets will work too. The SEZ heads cram in a bunch of aftermarket performance while retaining the factory exhaust port location, intake opening, pushrod location, rocker arms and rocker shaft oiling.
All you’ll need is an INDY aluminum valley plate.
