With SEMA only days away from the time of this publishing, manufacturers are champing at the bit to let the world know about the new Mopar performance products its got lined up. Coming up on the world’s biggest automotive aftermarket tradeshow, Detroit Speed Engineering (DSE) has let slip an entirely new, uniquely-engineered suspension system for second generation B-bodies (specifically, 1968-1970) and first generation E-bodies (1970-1974).
As part of the QA1 family of performance suspension products, Detroit Speed sits highest on the pecking order of available options for road racing and performance handling enthusiasts (with Speedtech nestled in-between the two aforementioned brands). Detroit Speed’s suspension solutions include an exclusive aluminum front cradle that replaces the inner fenders, K-member and adds massive amounts of strength and rigidity.
The rear suspension kit (starting at $3,750) replaces the traditional leaf springs with a fully customizable and adjustable 4-link, added structural bracing and can be paired with DSE’s own chassis stiffening components. These do not replace your subframes but radically support and reinforce your Mopar’s factory architecture. Expect a flood of added info and images when officially revealed at SEMA 2026.
