Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition Extended into 2025

Earlier this year, it was announced that 2024 would be the final year for the Hemi-powered Jeep Wrangler and to celebrate the end of the short-lived run of the V8 models, the brand announced a special Final Edition package. However, due to “popular demand”, the company has decided to offer the 392 Final Edition package for the 2025 model year as well.

“When news broke in March that Jeep Wrangler 392 was roaring off into the sunset, the comments, coverage and conversation showed us that the Jeep community isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the V-8-powered Wrangler,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “Jeep brand listened and will continue the 392 Final Edition into the 2025 model year.”

This is great news for everyone who wanted to order a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition and for all of the people who want to see a Hemi in the corporate lineup. The company seems to be surprised by the demand for the Hemi-powered Wrangler, but considering the uproar over the end of the Hemi in the Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Wagoneer lineup, it doesn’t take an industry expert to expect a high level of interest in one of the final Hemi-powered vehicles in the Stellantis stable.

When it was announced that 2024 would be the last year for the Jeep Wrangler 392 and the current Dodge Durango lineup, it seemed that the only Stellantis vehicles with Hemi power for the 2025 model year would be the Ram Heavy Duty lineup, but now we know that at least one vehicle – the Jeep Wrangler of all things – will still be powered by the “SRT 392”.

While the Hemi V8 will live on for one more model year thanks to the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition package being carried over to 2025, it is not the exact same vehicle as the 2024 Final Edition models. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition will come standard with exclusive decals on the hood and fenders, Black Nappa leather seats, a unique shifter badge, a unique swing gate plaque, the Mopar swing gate table, an 8,000-pound Warn winch, heavy duty rock sliders, a half-inch suspension lift and bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition models offer 11.6 inches of ground clearance and 34.5 inches of water fording ability, making it the most capable SUV in the world, but it is also incredibly quick – sprinting from a stop to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds and covering the quarter mile in 13 seconds flat.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition package will not come with the Mopar triple hoop grille guard or the Mopar 83-piece tool set which were both part of the 2024 392 Final Edition package.

Jeep has not announced pricing for the 2025 Wrangler 392 Final Edition package, but we know that the 2024 version has a starting MSRP of $101,890 (including destination), so the 2025 models will likely be in that same price range. Production of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition models is expected to begin during the first quarter of 2025, with orders opening later this year.
