Our 1970 Super Bee Was Invited To The M1 Concourse Woodward Dream Show

Woodward Dream Cruise is back for 2023 in Pontiac, Michigan. To kick start the cruise, M1 Concourse is holding the Woodward Dream Show on August 18th and 19th.

While this author was at PRI with the Super Bee on display, this author received an invitation from M1 Concourse to have our corner carving, 6.4 Hemi swapped 1970 Super Bee to be one of the featured vehicles, and of course this author accepted.

This author has attended a lot of different shows, but never have attended the Woodward Dream Cruise. Knowing it is one of the biggest cruises out there, it has always been on the list to attend. Being a featured car at the M1 Concourse Woodward Dream Show will make it extra special.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is a 16-mile cruise starting from Eight-Mile Road. There are over 40,000 vehicles cruising up and down Woodward Avenue between Ferndale and Pontiac. Over a million spectators from all over the world will line the streets. This all becomes one giant traffic jam, but one that you want to be in.

Before the cruising on Saturday, the party will get started early Friday at M1 Concourse celebrating Mopar brands. M1 Concourse might sound familiar, as it is where Roadkill Nights is held and where Dodge showed off their new products in 2022.

M1 Concourse is also home to a 1.5-mile road course with 11 turns. During the event, M1 Concourse will be splitting the track in half. The south side will fill up with cars and activities such as “Insiders’ Garage” panel discussion, R/C car races, music, entertainment, food, beverage, Peoples’ Choice voting for the car show, and an expanded kid’s zone pavilion.

On the north side of the track, this author’s favorite part: the Race Speed Track Experiences (RSTE) are held, where professional drivers give you a ride along in Dodge Chargers and Challengers. This author received a ride along at Roadkill Nights and it was a blast.

On Saturday the party continues with an escorted parade sponsored by Comerica Bank. This escorted parade is limited to only 200 vehicles that M1 Concourse will choose. You can submit your show car or truck and buy your tickets at M1Concourse.com now. The list fills up fast and August will be here in a blink of an eye.
