PerTronix Performance Brands Appoints Jamie Meyer As Chief Product & Innovations Officer

Last week PerTronix Performance Brands made an announcement of appointing Jamie Meyer as their new Chief Product & Innovations Officer. For the Mopar crowd this name might not sound too familiar, but Jamie has some incredible background that will help propel PerTronix to do great things.

PerTronix’s press release below covers all the details of the recent appointment of Jamie. This appointment might be game changing for PerTronix, as Jamie has a long history of performance product development. To start with, Jamie spent 15 years with General Motors as he helped develop innovative products for the COPO Camaro as well as the LS and LSX line of crate motors.

Now that Jamie will be in charge of product development for the Original Doug’s Headers, PerTronix Ignition, Compu-Fire and the rest of the PerTronix brands, we are excited to see what new Mopar products might come of this change. With the Gen III Hemi being so popular, we assume that might be an area that Jamie will expand upon.

Jamie has also has served as the president of Performance Racing Industry (PRI) and helped transform the PRI Show into a top 40 event. We know he will be doing great things at PerTronix Performance Brands and with their Mopar rich product lines, we expect that some new products will be heading our way soon.
