The Ram Truck brand is looking to take the crown for most luxury pickup on the market with the introduction of the new 2018 Ram Limited Tungsten Edition.

“The Limited Tungsten Edition is the highest trim level Ram has made available,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Brand, FCA – Global. “The new Tungsten Edition is an example of how Ram directly responds to customer input by offering the industry’s most luxurious pickup. Premium truck buyers will recognize the attention to detail, surrounded by quality materials.”

The Tungsten Edition is built on the luxury top-of-the-lime Limited trim and then boosted with an even higher level of comfort, luxury and attention to detail. Additions to the Tungsten Edition over the Limited include a segment-first Light Greystone suede headliner and ultra-premium “Natura Plus” Frost and Indigo-colored premium leather throughout the cabin. This includes the seats, instrument panel, steering wheel, center arm rest and door panels. The interior also features Indigo-colored carpet with rubber floor-mats and snap-out Frost and Indigo carpeted floor-mat inserts. Finishing up the interior is real wood components and unique Tungsten Edition only badges.

The interior isn’t the only thing being upgraded for the Tungsten Edition; the exterior is full of special goodies too! The front end features a Tungsten Chrome grille with RAM lettering; similar to that of the Limited. The exterior also features a Sport Performance hood (1500 model only), body-color matched bumpers, mirrors, door handles and running boards. The headlamps feature a black surround and the RAM letters on the tailgate are finished in body color. The truck is finished off with Tungsten Chrome accents and badging and the wheels are borrowed from the Limited trim and finished in a unique satin finish.

Ram’s 2018 Limited Tungsten Edition is stuffed full of creature comforts such as suspension (1500 models only), navigational radio, remote start, backup camera, power adjustable pedals with memory, heated steering wheel, front ventilated and heated seats, heated rear seats and RamBox (Heavy Duty & 6.4” bed only). The standard 8.4-inch Uconnect radio includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SiriusXM Guardian.

Available in the third quarter of 2017, the Ram Limited Tungsten trim will be offered on the Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500. The 2018 Ram Limited Tungsten is available in the following colors: Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic (1500 only), Pearl White and True Blue Pearl.
