If you haven’t started to follow Auto Metal Direct’s new video series with Kevin Tetz, “AMD Garage” you’re seriously missing out on some really good entertainment (and education) in the realm of classic and modern muscle. Tetz took the AMD Garage team with him to the Columbus, Ohio Goodguys where he rubbed elbows with some seriously cool car builders, owners and scoped out some very cool builds – many of which, were top notch Mopars!
In this episode, Tetz and team run into Giot’s Garage pick, a wild blown Hemi-powered ’69 Super Bee, Classic Car Studio’s over-the-top ’68 Dodge Charger custom build, and then a super clean ’66 Dodge Coronet equipped with a warmed-over 440 that is driven all over the country – from Pittsburgh, PA to Columbus, OH and the entire Hot Rod Power Tour. The owner Dave is not shy about racking up the miles on this B-body.
Auto Metal Direct is making it a point that 1. no car is “too gone” to be saved; 2. building your dream car can be done with enough time, patience and the right education; and lastly, 3. you gotta drive the snot out of these cars! They weren’t meant to sit around and let the gaskets rot out of them. Put some heat through that engine and get ’em on the road!
