Video: World’s Fastest Hellcat Charger Runs Low 10-Seconds

When Dodge released their Hellcat Charger and Challenger models, it was made very clear that they were very fast and meant business! Chrysler shook up the performance car world when they came out and announced that the Challenger Hellcat could run the quarter mile on street tires in 11.2 seconds. Shortly after, they announced the Challenger could run the quarter mile using drag radials in 10.8 seconds. What really shocked performance enthusiasts is when Dodge brand CEO Tim Kuniskis announced that while the Challenger was very quick; the bigger, heavier 4-door Hellcat Charger was in fact FASTER!

They advertised the Charger as being fully capable of running 11-seconds flat in the quarter mile bone stock off the showroom floor while still running the stock street tires. However, they never shared any drag radial times so it left many wondering what the Charger could be capable of if it could hook and get proper traction. We all knew it wouldn’t take long before we would find out. Of course performance enthusiasts always strive to make their car go faster and faster so it was no surprise when we learned of a lady named Linda who has a cherry red Hellcat Charger running mid 10-second quarter mile times with only a few minor modifications.

It’s claimed she currently has the world’s fastest Charger SRT Hellcat. In the video you’ll see below, she originally makes a pass running 10.65 at 129 mph and then raises the bar again running a quarter mile time of 10.41 at 132.70 mph! From what we’ve been told, the only modifications to her Hellcat is the obvious rear tire & wheel drag set-up along with a 10-percent overdrive lower pulley and a custom performance PCM tune. We are very curious to see what she achieves in the near future with this angry Cat. We could very well see a 9-second quarter mile time very soon!
