Gallery: Salvaggio-Built “Punishment” ’70 Pro-Touring Dodge Charger Up For Sale

We here at Mopar Connection are big fans of custom and modified Mopars and it’s no secret we are huge Charger fanatics. Chargers can be a tough thing to modify and have the results come out clean, especially the second generation platform. In our opinion, MaMopar hit the nail right on the head with the styling of the 1968-1970 Chargers. In the past, many modified Chargers have popped up however usually, they just don’t work. There are some though, that are absolute jaw droppers. One particular Charger that sticks in our minds is a pro-touring 1970 Charger called “Punishment” built by David Salvaggio of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Owner Kris Duggan contacted us recently to let us know his stunning B-body is up for sale.

In case you haven’t heard of “Punishment,” it’s been featured in multiple magazines and has been referenced to as the highest quality Charger pro-touring build. With multiple awards under its belt such as Top 15 Muscle Cars at SEMA by Popular Hot Rodding and multiple Goodguys contests, this Charger is a show stopper. There is nothing stock about this one as it features custom fabricated floors, inner Lexan fenders, firewall, radiator support, rear tubs, cowl, and trunk floor. With a custom fabricated front chassis, the Charger rides on a C6 Corvette front suspension and Forgeline 18” and 20” wheels.

Under the hood sits a 600 horsepower modern 6.1L SRT HEMI engine backed by a Tremec 6-speed. On the inside, the Charger is treated to a custom one-off luxury interior by Steve Pearson. You may recognize that name as he does all the interiors for the Ring Brothers’ creations. The interior has been fitted with a custom dash and door panels fabricated with Italian leather, custom carbon accents and LEDs. The exterior is painted in Lamborghini’s “Grigio Estoque” and is tastefully modified with 2010 Dodge Challenger tail lights, door handles and side mirrors.

Kris says he has over $380,000 invested in the build of “Punishment” however it can be yours for $275,000. While it’s too rich for our wallets, we’re sure somebody out there is willing to spill the cash for this bad boy. If you’re interested in checking out more, click here.
