Proform Parts has introduced its latest product, the Brushless Ultra-Performance fan, an all-new brushless electric motor cooling fan. When in maximum cooling, the brushless design affords greater cubic feet per minute (CFM) of airflow compared to the competition. The Proform Brushless fans are lightweight, low-profile, have no amp spikes, and produce cooling airflow, unlike any fan on the market.
Above: Proform Parts has introduced the Brushless Ultra-Performance cooling fan line. They are brushless but do not require a controller to operate the motor. The fan sizes range from 12- to 16-inches and airflow ratings from 2100 to 4200+ CFM.
Six 12-volt fans are offered in ratings from 2100 to 4200+ CFM and range in diameters from 12 to 16 inches. Because of their slimline construction, the Brushless fans will fit in tight locations, such as between the radiator and the engine’s water pump pulley. The fans are composed of reinforced glass-filled polypropylene blades and plastic housing significantly lighter than the competition’s brush-style fans. A nylon tie mounting kit is included with each fan.
Above: For fan speed flexibility, Proform offers a Pulse-Width Modulated (PWM) Frequency Meter, where the operator can control the fan’s frequency and duty cycle. What that means is the fan’s speed can be adjusted from zero rpm to its maximum rpm.
One of the most user-friendly aspects of the Proform Brushless fans is their effortless installation process. A simple connection of the positive and negative wires completes the wiring process. Unlike traditional Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) brushless fans, these fans eliminate the need for a fan controller. Moreover, the absence of amperage spikes as the fan accelerates to full speed, a characteristic of brushless motors, further enhances the user experience, making it a breeze to use.
The Brushless fans are designed to seamlessly integrate with Proform thermostatically controlled on/off controllers (part nos. 69598 and 69599). For those seeking even more control, a Proform multispeed digital controller (part no. 67039) is available, allowing for speed control from 0% (off) to 100% (maximum speed). These optional components not only enhance the performance of the Brushless fans but also provide unparalleled flexibility. The Brushless fans are strictly puller fans and are not reversible.
Above: Proform offers two different electric fan controllers. Both allow the fans to be activated at temperatures between 150°F and 240°F. One controller uses a threaded probe to measure temperature (left), while the other has a temperature probe that slips through the radiator fins.
Imagine the possibilities with a Proform Brushless fan. Whether cruising the streets or running at the track, this upgrade means more than just increased cooling airflow. It means a longer-lasting fan, saving you time and money in the long run. Embrace the future of brushless motor technology. For more information, check out ProformParts.com/brushless.
