Aftermarket support is finally starting to pick up steam for the long-overlooked 1966-1967 B-bodies. While ’68-’70 models typically get all the love, ridiculous prices are pushing a lot of buyers to take a look at these slightly older (and cheaper) models. Some parts are shared between the two year ranges, but ’66-’67 cars also have a significant amount of two-year-only parts that have become hard to come by.

Auto Metal Direct (AMD) is getting the ball rolling with their new 1966-1967 Plymouth B-body outer wheelhouses (P/N 770-1466-L and 770-1466-R). Belvedere, GTX, and Satellite models are all covered in their respective two-door, four-door, hardtop, and sedan varieties.

Brand new tooling has been manufactured to produce these parts with every nook, cranny, bend, and brake that the factory pieces had. As with most AMD products, the wheelhouses are shipped in a black EDP coating for corrosion protection.

When used in conjunction with their new 3” wider inner wheelhouses for ’66-’70 B-bodies, your wheel can get an all-new home that’s both roomier and rust-free. After all, why not replace both while the spot weld cutter is already out?
