American Powertrain adds the new ProFit 6-Speed kit for 1967-76 Mopar A-bodies to their wide selection of bolt-in 5 and 6-speed systems for classic muscle and sports cars.

The ProFit A-body 6-speed kit features the 700ft-lb rated TREMEC Magnum 6-speed with a shift position that is compatible with the original A-body console or floor opening along with all of the correct installation parts you have come to expect from American Powertrain.

Each kit comes with the new Magnum 6-speed, AP Revolution™ offset shifter, bolt-in cross member, AP’s exclusive Ballistix™ ISO-X™ transmission mount, speedometer set-up, wiring kit, custom pilot bearing, seamless DOM driveshaft, polished stainless shift handle with a shift knob and their complete HYDRAMAX™ hydraulic clutch system. An engine specific bell housing is added per the car’s specs and is priced separately.

These systems are compatible with existing pedals and most existing clutch and flywheel combinations in your A-body, however these components are available from American Powertrain if you need them.
