AmericanMuscle Spotlights A Custom ’19 Dodge Challenger R/T

AmericanMuscle’s (AM) customer build profile pages offer a great way for the modern muscle community to share inspirations and modifications. Adam Maqboul recently connected with Bob Roundy to get the scoop on his customized 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T.

Of course, AM’s Challenger catalog was huge in the building of Bob’s bomber. On the exterior, a host of lime green accents compliment the original gray paint. Oracle LED halo kits for both the headlights and fog lights really set a menacing tone out front. Rear window louvers give off a vintage vibe while also keeping back seat sitters in the shade.

The engine internals are bone-stock R/T, but did get some help from JLT. An oil separator helps keep the top end clean, but the biggest highlight from the owner’s perspective is the cold air intake. “You don’t need the sport mode on with that JLT intake on. It sucks enough air to where it gets up and growls like it does if you have the sport mode on. It lets that car breathe,” Bob says.

Red trim, piping, and lighting highlight the interior since Bob has “a wife of thirty-three years and she did not want lime green seats inside the car.” Smartly done, for sure. Way out back, a WeatherTech cargo liner protects the trunk and bumper from the loading and unloading of RC racecars. All the way around, this R/T came out great with some vision from the owner and a few boxes of upgrades from AmericanMuscle.
