Come to WAF Racing Springfield, TN Headquarters Open House Saturday, May 16th

If you’ve been a fan of what we do here at Mopar Connection Magazine then you’ll undoubtedly recognize the name Chris Wozniak. Chris has been a regular contributor to MCM’s steady supply of technical articles and tutorials over these past few years, and has happily lent his talents as an engineer and 3D modeler for a few of our projects (namely, two key dashboard components for “Project Marsha” our 1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible).

While an immensely valued member of the MCM team, we can’t afford to pay all of his bills. That’s why Chris is the owner of WAF Racing, a part developer and shop in Springfield, TN. Besides prepping his own cars for grueling drag-and-drive events, he’s also taking on small jobs here and there – mainly just so that he can afford his drag racing habit. Having recently moved from a home garage to a small shop located at 208 5th Ave E, Chris’ ready for an open house.

Calling it “the first ever WAF Racing Hot Rod Hangout,” Chris is wanting to throw open the doors and welcome hot rodders, drag racers and car enthusiasts of all kinds for a day of cool cars, good music and some decent burgers and hot dogs. (Cold sodas and water too.) Chris joked, “Are the new shop renovations finished? No. Will it be a mess? Maybe. Do we want to welcome you to our new space and check out your rides and talk cars all day? Yes!”

Additionally, Mopar Connection Magazine will be onsite with our aforementioned Plymouth Fury, a table full of heavily discounted T-shirts (gotta make room for the next design!) and some other goodies. And come meet the team from Tommy’s Auto & Machine Shop and ask all the engine building questions you’d like! You can check out the event listing posted over at the Mopar Event Calendar website linked here.
