The stainless-steel headers, a pinnacle of Doug’s quality, are meticulously designed to deliver unparalleled performance and long-lasting durability. Each header is equipped with 3/8-inch 304 stainless machined flanges and CNC 304 stainless mandrel bent tubes, ensuring a precise fit that instills confidence in the product’s quality and a significant increase in exhaust gas flow. This boost in performance, combined with the stainless-steel finish that offers top-tier rust and corrosion resistance, is a dream come true for any automotive enthusiast.

Doug’s Headers offers three pairs of Mopar headers designed for several vehicle models. For the small block crowd, Doug’s has headers (part no. D453-SS) with 1 5/8-inch primaries plumbed into a 3-inch collector, fitting multiple models from 1968 – 1974.

Above: Doug’s Headers has stainless steel headers for the ‘B’ engines. The collectors measure 3 inches, and each primary is 1 3/4 inches.

For the big-block owners, there is a set of headers for the ‘B’ 383 and 400 engines (part no. D451-SS) and a set for the ‘RB’ 426 wedge and 440 engines (part no. D452-SS). The ‘B’ headers have 1 ¾-inch primaries and a 3-inch collector, while the ‘RB’ collector is 3 ½-inches, and the primaries are 2-inches. Both sets of headers fit applications from 1962 – 1974.

Each header is silver in color with a satin sheen, and all the tubes are 16 gauge. The headers come with all the necessary gaskets and mounting fasteners, making installation a breeze, and ensuring a user-friendly experience. Additionally, each header comes with a 3-bolt collector reducer.

Above: Doug’s Headers offers larger pipes for the ‘RB’ engines. The collectors measure 3 1/2 inches, and each primary is 2 inches. All the Doug’s Headers are 50-state compliant.

Lastly, the headers earned a Pertronix Performance Brands emissions code four level, which means they are considered a replacement part per California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for emissions compliance. As stated in the Manufacturer’s Application Guide and Installation Instructions, the headers are legal for sale and use on specified vehicles in all 50 states.
