Rowing your own has just gotten more exciting with the Precision SportShifter from B&M Performance and Off-Road. The SportShifter fits all 2006-2018 2500/3500 Ram trucks equipped with a G56 6-speed manual transmission. The B&M-designed shifter is a completely self-contained unit that only requires an included gasket to install in place of the factory shifter.

The shifter comes with a CNC billet 6061 T-6 hardened aluminum case anodized in an electric blue finish. Inside the case are robust 4140 Chromoly parts constructed to handle the harshest shifts without failure. The shifter throw distance is 26% shorter than the factory shifter. B&M engineered the shifter with heavy-duty detent spring pressure to produce substantial shift engagement and prevent the transmission from popping out of gear.

The shifter is designed to fit into the factory console, and the unit attaches to the factory shifter stick and knob. As with other B&M products, the Precision SportShifter comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and it is an emission level 5, so it is fifty-state legal. The installation process can be performed by anyone that possesses a moderate mechanical aptitude, and the installer can complete the job with hand tools.
