Video: Auto Metal Direct’s Massive Mopar Nationals Coverage & Dukes Jump Footage

Like we’ve said before, you can never get enough awesome Mopar event coverage, and recently the team at Auto Metal Direct’s social media side just dropped this full-length episode of their time at last month’s Mopar Nationals in Hebron, Ohio to their YouTube channel [by the way, if you haven’t subscribed yet, you’re missing out on some seriously useful content. Go give them a “Like.” –Ed.].

So yeah, AMD’s film crew hit the ground running at the Nats, interviewing several folks kind enough to bring out their awesome and unique Mopars either to show off, get judged or sell to the highest bidder. They also got down and dirty, capturing a whole mess of drag racing, burnouts (there was a whole competition, by the way) and most exciting of all: the General Lee jump.

AMD welcomed out the Northeast Ohio Dukes stunt team to achieve a new personal best jump distance of 217 feet, landing their retired Police Interceptor-turned-General Lee clone using darn near every scrap of new sheet metal for a 1969 Dodge Charger that Auto Metal Direct has to offer in their catalog. The General Lee jump was preceded by a little “cat and mouse” chase with a Roscoe cruiser and offered some excitement as well.

This video has got all of that and much, much more, so scroll down and give this one a watch. And when you’re done, make sure to give it a “Like”, leave a comment and maybe even share it to your social media wall. That’s how we keep channels like this going, after all.
