September, 2016 (Cookeville, TN) American Powertrain introduces their second generation 6-speed Pro-Fit system for Mopar E-body and late B-body.

The new Pro-Fit 6-speed system features the 700ft-lb rated TREMEC Magnum transmission with all the installation parts you need for a stock look including a new cross member that ties into the torsion bar anchors to stiffen the chassis and allow the use of the original torsion bars with along with everything you need to hook up the speedo, reverse lights, reverse lock-out and more. A 3.5” DOM driveshaft is also included in the kit.

The biggest change is a new White Lightning shifter mechanism that provides the original shift position for all ‘Cudas, Challengers and bucket seat 1971-74 B-bodies.
