Gallery: 24th Annual Mopar Muscle of Central PA at Kaiser Brothers CDJR

For the last fifteen years, the small, quaint town of Muncy, Pennsylvania, nestled in the beautiful Susquehanna River valley, has hosted a massive car show on the main street and at two local dealerships. On September 16, 2023, the local Corvette club lined eight decades’ worth of Corvettes along the main drag. Muncy Motors entertained the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury fans, and the Mopar Muscle of Central PA car club delighted the Mopar faithful at Kaiser Brothers CDJR.

Over 450 vehicles attended the one-day event between the three venues, and the Mopar enthusiasts showed up in droves, with nearly 150 cars on the dealership grounds. Usually, the Mopar Muscle of Central PA club has a specific vehicle or year that is celebrated, but this year, the club did not have a feature. Instead, food vendors, aftermarket dealers, and a large Chinese auction filled the void.

The 24th annual Mopar Muscle of Central PA show benefitted from exceptional weather. The pleasant meteorological conditions drew several Mopar convertibles, which included numerous 383 Road Runners and a 426 Hemi Dodge Coronet R/T. The Gen 2 Hemis were well represented. Satellites, Chargers, Coronets, Road Runners, Cudas, and a street rod all had a 426 slipped between the fenders.

As is usual, the late-model Challengers, Chargers, and 300s dominated the field. Several late-model vehicles took the presentation to the maximum extent with lights, videos, banners, placards, and other display materials. Plenty of A-, B-, and E-bodies and even a few C-bodies were in attendance.

Besides the large number of Gen 3 Hemis, slant sixes were found in many cars and trucks. The 225 slants were mainly found in A- and B-bodies. 340s were very popular among the small blocks, and the 440s seemed to be the engine of choice if a big block was installed.

The Mopar portion of the event was sponsored by:

Be sure to plan to attend all three shows, but of course, the Mopar show is where we will expect to see you.
