In recent years, companies have become more and more comfortable with opening up their doors and welcoming their loyal customers to spend the day touring the facility, seeing how the company operates and how they manufacture their products. Over the past 5 years, aftermarket performance pioneer QA1 has welcomed hundreds of enthusiasts to do exactly that at their annual Open House and Cruise.
On an unusually wet Friday morning this past July 15, over 200 car enthusiasts and 100 awesome vehicles of every make model and stripe, filled the QA1 parking lot, enjoyed some free donuts and hot coffee, listened to some classic rock and walked the packed parking lot filled with classic and modern muscle cars.
Once everyone enjoyed some early morning refreshments, the group was guided through QA1’s Lakeville, MN facility, seeing how the company’s double-adjustable shocks are assembled, how it weaves the carbon fiber into its lightweight and durable driveshafts, and where all of the latest performance suspension components are packaged and shipped to enthusiasts across the globe. Its not often that a company is so willing to draw back the curtain and reveal how so much is done – especially on such a scale – but QA1 isn’t like most companies.
While what we’ve shared here is some snippets of fine Mopar examples at the show, make sure to check out the absolutely massive photo gallery (over 200 pictures) at QA1’s official Facebook page, where the video below is also hosted. You won’t be disappointed!
